Saiunkoku Monogatari (Colourcloud Palace)

  
This is one anime i realized a little bit later that i actually love watching it. Apart from the gorgeously drawn characters, the men inside made me squeal like a schoolgirl in love, especially Ryuuki, Seiran, Shuuei, Ensei and Ryuuren. One more important character: Koyu, i dont really like the dude cuz he's so bad tempered but his sense of direction i find it extremely funny and amusing. (there's more imp characters)
Okay, Summary: Kou Shuurei is invited to go into the palace to kick the King's (Shi Ryuuki) lazy bum so that he starts acting like a king and work. Okay so she wants to be a government official but in the olden China era, woman has no authority. Shuurei wants to change that and she did with her strong will and confidence. As the main female character of course the king fell in love with her. So did most of the other characters in there. But what i really hate is she's always playing hard to get with the King. Sheesh~~ He's HOT! Just accept his proposal already (That;s what i kept thinking while watching)
Ran Shuuei I LOVE that character! Something about his cool personality makes me fall in love with his role. But well, as all anime cliché always happen. He loves an older woman who doesn't love him back and while waiting for the woman to return his love, he turns into an eligible bachelor who sleeps and flirts around. Hmph~~~ Don't you notice that every eligible bachelor in most anime are like that?
His brother Ryuuren is one funny character. His eccentricity is what makes me laugh and why i think this anime is just hilarious. The King could look serious but he's always acting like a kid and i find it cute. Ensei has this happy go lucky personality that makes him so fun to watch. Seiran, well, he's mostly gentle but serious at all time but i do admire his loyalty. Too bad he too kind sometimes.
Then you get to see how the people of that era manipulate people and stuff (i'm not that interested in that)
If you watch the anime, you'll feel so sympathetic for Ryuuki and Seiran for their bitter childhood memories and Shuuei is just so unlucky in love. Well, I finish watching it and i'm so sad cuz it's the last season, no news on the 3rd season. Even the manga is hard to find. So i resolved around rewatching.
The OST for this anime was really good to me. I really love the er hu. If you're fan of chinese instruments then i bet you'll enjoy the songs. Tho some of the songs such as country music are rather modern for that kinda anime genre but i still love it.

Dogs and Goddesses

Now this book is a good read to me. I'm naturally a dog lover which makes this book quite hilarious to me. Daisy, Shar and Abby are three women with no connections until one day they went to a dog obedience class that resurrected their inner goddess. Daisy takes care of her mothers hyperactive Jack Russell, Bailey and she just can't wait to return her back to her mom. Abby just inherited her grandmothers bakery i guess? and she moved to town with her huge Newfoundland dog, Bowser. Shar was a 50 over dull professor (before being goddess) who just broke up with her long time boyfriend and lives alone with her neurotic dachshund Wolfie.
Ironically, all their mothers don't have goddess powers and they do so the evil goddesses Kammani wants to steal their powers by setting up this class as a bait to lure them together.
Okay okay~~ the guys. Uh.. Kammani resurrected the ancient king Samuel who eventually fell in love with Shar, Daisy with the hot and hunky dog trainer and Abby with the geeky but hot math genius professor. All ends well, and the things the dogs(Yes they speak) are rather hilarious. >XD 
There's the evil Kammani minion, Mina who is to me just plain nuts. The ending for her was well deserved and funny tho i do feel a bit sympathetic.
So i do recommend this book. 4/5 rating for me!

I do I do I do & The final hitch

I haven't read the first book but from the second book i can guessed what happened. Hmm... i would say it's decent read tho i do think it's unnecessarily prolonged. The story revolves around Izzy Mistry the wedding planner who was no based in Majorca with her boyfriend Harrisson who was flying back and forth to see her.
The Final Hitch did offer a glimpse at what happened in I Do I Do I Do. So, Izzy was stupid enough to return to her then ex boyfriend Harrisson, causing him to break up his engagement to another girl. Then she broke the heart of her boss's son Tomas who was much more a better candidate.
So fast forward to her planning to buy a house in Majorca to stay permanently, then the whole story is a huge maze of conflict whether Izzy is doing thr right thing.
SPOILER ALERT: At the end, Harrisson decided that things wont work between them and broke off with Izzy. She in turn went back to the stupid Tomas who still is willing to accept her and they got married.
My view of this Izzy character, i don't hate her but i really think she's a bitch for breaking Tomas's heart and then going back to him again when she was dumped AGAIN. She's really stupid in the sense she let her heart break twice by the same idiot. So thats the summary. Samantha Scott Jeffries's writing was okay, if you like Spain and some bridal things then i guess you can read these books.


My rating would just be 2/5  (for my defense, i just think what Izzy does is stupid, the rest is fine)

weird names

Recently due to the influence of celebrity names and their weird moniker's name, i keep hearing people calling themselves awkward names.
 I give you an example, Fish. There is really people who call themselves FISH (surnames) i mean WHY fish?! Even if they love fish, it's just weird to call themselves fish, it's even weirder for someone to call them that! Imagine a situation when you're in a cafeteria full of people and it's so noisy, you see your friend who calls themselves Fish and you bellow "FISH!" to call them, now, what would other people think of you?
Fish is not the only weird name i came across. There's also Ice, Orange, Apple, Rain and other objects, it is just plain ridiculous! Think about other's position before you really want someone to call you that.
There's also some on facebook who likes to put Pig something, Stupid girl something, Cockroach boy or other equally stupid names. Oh my Lord, why would something even self proclaim themselves as stupid and a hog? They think it's cute, Please! It's not. So is talking like a retarded, it's not even cute, it's humiliating yourself. When i see girls doing that, they strike me as retarded not cute. <disgusted> Maybe that's just in Asia where some guys prefer their girls like that but please, in a eye of a woman, it's a disgrace to we females. They are really stupid then, as how they like themselves to be portrayed. 
While some celebrities think it's cute to  name their child those exotic bizarre names, their kids will grow up to hate it. A good example, Rummer Willis, Kal-el Cage, Fifi Trixibelle, Kyd, Blanket, Tu Morrow? Please, as parent, be considerate to your kids in the future. I can't help but feel so sorry for these people.

Newlywed Alert!

 

Now this is a sight to behold. Two lovely looking couple who just got married few months ago and touring the whole of Europe for their honeymoon. I never saw the dude before, but Eugene I was always a fan. So when i heard she was married, I turned to the search engine at once. Boy, does her husband looks hot. They are officially my new favourite couple. Both of them looked happy don't they? well, that's newlywed's life. Lets just hope they keep that fairy tale going on. I'm voting on to them on that.  Aww~~ so sweet! <3

   

Curse of Fame

So I've recently read about JYJ abusing fans thing. I mean of course if they're smart celebs they should know that their actions will be watched and scrutinized all around the world. But then think of the suffering they have to go through in the hands of crazy lunatic fans? Try living their life for just a day, NO, one hour, it's enough for you to understand the pain in many great ways. Of course when they first famous, they just love the attention but try living it for years, does sound even more than exhausting right? 
Sure getting famous is a great thing- admirers, money and lots and lots of it. Sounds too good? Of course not! It comes with a price that they should be willing to pay. If they're not famous, why would people give a damn? When you're famous, everyone wants to dish the dirt on you, they wanna find faults in you, especially the media. Take for example, the Grammy Curse. Whoever won the best actress award will end up divorce/broken marriage. Why? Suddenly you're the centre of the spotlight, everyone wants to know what you did to deserve that award. If they never receive the awards, no one would do a thorough back ground check and never would have known the things they did. Famous examples, Sandra Bullock and Kate Winslet all ended up divorced. Why do you think that is?
In JYJ case, it's the same. When they were famous as DBSK and now JYJ, everyone wants to know what they do. What they do to deserve to be so famous. I'm not a hypocrite when i say that I DON'T idolize any celebrity cuz i really don't. C'mon people, they're just any regular people, they drink, eat, sleep, shit. Breathe the same air with us. All they had extra was opportunity, talents and lots of money. What is there to idolize?
These crazy fans stalking them around even to the weird extend of (i really feel super disgusted by this) sending menstrual period blood in panty to them, break into house try to kiss them, stalk family members, call them, move in next to them. SHEESH!! Get a LIFE! life doesn't revolves around celebs. Think of the time you use to stalk them, you can actually study, get a real education, get good job, travel around the world, then you would see the world differently- What are they then? You'll see them as a bunch of circus monkeys. So grow up you idiotic lunatic fans and give them some space to breathe!

Deep Water Phobia

Well... this is probably going to be the most ridiculous reason to be afraid of water. I am NOT afraid of water mind you, i enjoy showers, rainwater, sea water, lake pond river waters. Challenge accepted. But i AM afraid of deep waters. Why? Thanks to the creator of jaws, lake placid and frakenfish. Deep Blue Sea was one of the movie i can remember the most and it's probably where my fear of deep waters started. Who knows what can be lurking beneath your feet, ready to grab your feet and drag you under?
Although i'm afraid, I still enjoy swimming in pools and waterfalls WITH the exception that I'm not alone. What's with the reason? Cuz i wont be the first one "whatever it is underneath" will grab (hopefully).
I do love strolling or waddling in shallow waters or waist high waters. Anything but swim in deeper water.
But one thing weird about me, i still watch these jaws movies tho it'll only make my phobia worse but i do just like watching it. It's weird i know but well... that's me. If you got nothing to do and fancy a bit of scare then maybe you can try watching these kinda movie?
                                

Rain

It was raining quite heavily this afternoon and 
i happen to look out of the window after a rather refreshing nap. The rain pelted against my window and I was thinking how good it felt to be under the rain that moment - Letting the rain hit your face and the surge of electricity when you feel how cold the rain water was, the steady stream of water flowing at your feet and kicking the puddle of rain water, the trickle of cool water down your back and the thrill of it pelting even harder down on you? Of course after my little fun i'll probably hate the feeling of half dry and wet, not to mention, a risk of getting a serious cold.

It reminded me of how i used to run out when it rains when i was younger and carefree. Now for my age, if you're kicking water puddles and laughing while enjoying yourself in the rain, you're either socially challenged or retarded. But of course if you look like a Victoria Secret's model, you probably be viewed as hot and sexy which sadly in my case, I guess I'll look retarded. But don't you just enjoy weather like this? 

Closing my windows, i went on about my business thinking of some day when i can actually play in the rain without receiving any weird stares.

Underworld 4 Awakening & Theo James

    

SPOILER ALERT! I just watched Underworld 4 recently, it's pretty decent for someone who has never watched or read the books or the previous movies. Kate Beckinsale and the quality trailer of underworld brought me here, i like Kate ever since watching Pearl Harbour. But since the previous instalments of underworld doesn't look that interesting to me so i'm kinda lost at the beginning part of the movie, all i know is Selene and Michael have a child named Eve. 
Throughout the movie, i don't see any bond between Selene and her lost daughter. All she ask and think about is Michael, tho when Eve was abducted she went to save her. It's more like an obligation than a real love between mother and daughter. The ending was a cliff hanger.
As much as i enjoy Selene's swift and cool moves in the movie, I'm more focused on Theo James (David) as he is SOOO HOT inside here. Have you ever notice how everyone seems to like to make vampires into this graceful, beautiful creature with the most gorgeous eyes? and werewolves are always hairy and barbaric? But i don't mind cuz David is so cool and brave inside here. And i decided to love Selene forever when she brought him back from the dead then he appeared in time to save Eve at the end.
The movie was gory at some points but it was bearable and best of all, it won't make me have nightmares like how it did with ghost stories. :)
I recommend this movie for a Friday night when you got nothing to do but chill out~~ :3

Words

Whoever said stick and stones can break you but words can never hurt you? I think that's highly arguable. It's true some can never hurt you because you don't give a d*mn but other's yes, lemme give you examples:
Parents: I'm disappointed in you!/ Can't you be more useful?
Boyfriend/Girlfriend: I wanna breakup/ I'm sorry, this is not working/ Why can't you be like ____?
Friends: I hate you!/ I think we shouldn't be friends/ I prefer to be with ____
Teachers: You will fail in life!
See? Words can hurt you when it is uttered by the people that you care about and love. I'm fortunate that non of those happen to  me. Does it happen to you?

Rants of time management

Do you ever met the kind of people that are ALWAYS late for appointments?! Like NEVER show up on time and you have to wait for them like an idiot? Well, i met a lot of people like that and it's making me SICK ! People please !! 
(for example)When i say you have to be at a place at 2pm, i DON'T mean you leave your place only at 2pm, i WANT you there AT 2pm. If there really is a valid reason then I don't mind but sometimes there isn't. Excuses like i have to get dressed up or close my computer of what other excuses u can come up with. Let me teach you the simple basic time management, if someone wants you there at that time, please get ready at least 15 before the time. Close you computer, get dresses up 30 minutes before cuz you might need at least 15 minutes to reach the destination. You'll reach there in time or better, before.
I'm not sure it's because you feel the whole world revolves around you or you're just lack of responsibilities. From where I am now, i meet this kind of people everyday. And no matter how many times i told them, they'll never change. So i had to put up with their attitude every time. Time doesn't wait for anyone and they think it does. During the time of waiting for them, i could have done a lot of more useful things. Sometimes to deal with them, i have to set my time to fit theirs too or just simply go ahead and do my stuff without caring if they have already arrived and is finally waiting for me once. Then sometimes, these people have the NERVES to get angry at me instead. Bitches please ! Stop being a spoilt brat ! It's time to grow into a more mature and responsible adult.
In a nutshell, if you think you are this kind of person, please! CHANGE~ Think of others for goodness sake.
