Beautiful creatures books by Kami Garcia and Margaret Stohl. I would say it's not the best book that I've read but it's still readable. I must say, i couldn't actually grasp what the second book is actually talking about. The first book was fine but i must say the third book has improved a lot. I wouldn't recommend buying the first and second book, but without those 2, you would be clueless when it comes to the third book.It revolves around (oh the cliche) a boy and a girl and her extended family. Lena Duchannes is a caster(magical being with huge powers) who went to school and met Ethan Wate who is a normal human. It was later revealed that Ethan is a wayward (someone who guides the path of casters). They had a connection before they met, in a dream, then they fell in love. The whole series is talking about how Lena has to fight to choose to be light caster(good) and battle her manipulative evil mother. If she chooses light, Ethan will have to die but if she chooses dark she'll grow so evil she'll eventually forget Ethan. So at the end she choose to be both light and dark, so she can be with Ethan. (Oh the joy) Then she destroyed the order of the world that caused chaos and she and Ethan has to restore it. The ending of the third book (SPOILER ALERT) shows Ethan jumping down from a water tower to restore the new order. I don't really particularly like how the story revolves but the storyline is quite interesting. I did bought three of the books and i would still buy the fourth book.
3/5 star
