Korean Stereotypes In my place

I think the Korea media industry influence the thinking of society especially Asians. They portrayed themselves to be pretty causing girls and boys in my country to have a stereotype that says all Koreans are pretty and hot. And i mean ALL! not just celebs but mere koreans that comes here for visitation, studies and work stuff.
I'll relate to you an incident at my University. So these bunch of Korean students came for a student transfer program for a few months. At a time, my society was organizing a welcoming party to all foreign students-China, Morocco, Mauritius, Nigeria, USA, African, Korea..... you get the picture. At first not much participated in this party but when they heard the Koreans are there, EVERYONE wants to go just to have a glimpse of them. And true enough, that night, it was packed with students and guess who got all the attention? Yup, you guess right. The Korean students. Then whenever they go, they manage to turn heads. Guys thinks the girls are pretty, girls think the guys are cute. This is just absurd! I mean, they're just korean students for heaven sake! Not some celebrity. They just have the stereotype that all must be good looking and they're blinded by this.(BTW they're normal looking-the korean students)
Then there's this another case where i was going to a friends house which was coincidently not far from where the korean students are staying. I saw this group of girls in front of me walking past the house (The korean students house) and one of them screamed "Oppa, annyeonghaseyo! Sarang he!" (If you know the Korean culture, they usually use oppa for brother) in this context they're screaming "Hello, Brother. i love you". These girls they don't even know them and they don't know them either and they're screaming like a fan girl randomly at them. I could have slap them for being so slutty, its a disgrace to women!
To add in something even stupider, after they shouted that, they added "Sayonara" (Goodbye in Japanese) Earning them a huge face-palm from me. In fact i doubt no one wouldn't do a face palm in this situation. Just plain dumb bimbo trying to attract they're attention.
Which brings me to this topic, DON'T have the thinking that all Koreans are good looking and superstars. They're mere commoner stop worshipping them just because the media shows otherwise. That's why i say, the korea media industry is planting wrong thoughts to people around the world. I can't change what others think through this post but hopefully it creates awareness to this ridiculous stereotype.
